Please feel free to contact me by phone (call or sms) or by email to discuss any questions you may have before deciding whether I'm the best person to help you with your concerns. I’m often with clients so it may take me a couple of business days to respond.
Answers to some FAQ:
When do you work?
I see clients Monday-Thursday. My earliest sessions are at 8 or 830am, and the last appointment of the day is at 4pm.
Appointments at the beginning and ending of the day are heavily booked.
Where are you located?
Our practice is located on Level 1, in Newtown Business Centre- a white building perched on the corner of Wilson Street and Erskineville Road. The train station is about a 4 minute walk and the closest bus stops are on King Street (at the train station, next to the Pride Centre, or facing the Dendy- about 3 minutes if walking). The council carpark is on Wilson Street, which is also a 3 minute walk. The building has an access ramp.

What are your fees, do I need a referral and how does it work with Medicare?
You can find that information here.
How often should we meet?
Whilst many studies into the effectiveness of various treatments are based on people having weekly sessions, it is sometimes not possible to come that frequently due to cost. I also want to be able to give some time and space for the work we are doing in session, and things you’re practicing between sessions, to have room to have positive effects in your life. I schedule sessions on a weekly, regular fortnightly or monthly basis, dependent on where we are with your goals and our treatment.
My friend* who has seen you or currently sees you recommended you as a therapist for me…
One of the loveliest compliments I receive in this work is to be recommended by someone who is my client or has seen me in the past. In caring for them and for you, I need to be mindful of potential conflicts of interest. There are a few things that therapists need to consider about clients being in close relationships with each other- briefly discussed in this article from the Australian Psychological Society.
For example, could your relationship with that person ever be a focus in a session (yours or theirs)? If the answer is yes, it means its not advisable for us to start a therapeutic relationship. You’re welcome to contact me to clarify.
