Crisis & Emergency

As a private practitioner I am unable to provide an emergency or crisis service. This means that I am unable to provide immediate support to clients outside of business hours.

If you (or someone you know) is experiencing a mental health crisis or feeling unsafe, please contact any of the following services for assistance:

  • If it is an emergency, call 000 or go to your nearest hospital emergency department

  • Call NSW Mental Health Line on 1800 011 511 to be connected to your local Mental Health Crisis Team

  • Contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.

  • Contact the Suicide Support Service on 1300 659 467.

  • Your GP may also be able to see you for an urgent appointment.

  • The closest hospitals to Newtown are Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Missenden Road, Camperdown; St Vincent’s in Darlinghurst and Royal North Shore Hospital.
